Okay then, I would appreciate this email please!!!….
Some of the ideas I have for my wedding next year….and I am on a budget!!!

I am buying something every payday between now and then. I am also buying 2 bottles of wine per pay, they will add up at the end!

I am decorating the yard with Bali flags bought off ebay, they are stylish and very wedding looking

I am baking my own cake with a recipie given to me from a cake baker on answers!

Haveing finger foods, really nice classy ones and again made at home. My sister will stay over and help me, and I am paying 2 catering students from the local high school, $50 each for the day to serve drinks and heat up and serve the food.

I am also making a huge pot of pasta for people who need something more substanitial, and a big side of crusty rolls.

I am making a heap of little tarts for dessert.

Music is all downloaded off my computer, songs that are special to us, and put on an MP3 and played in the back ground

Borrow a big marquis if possible

find friends or family who can do hair and makeup. For cheap makeup you could find your local Mary Kay consultant, they are fantastic! And will do your makeup for a fraction of a cost

borrow garden chairs and buy a load of white calico and drape over them to make them look fancy

Buy a pretty dress from a formal shop, rather than a wedding gown shop, anything with Wedding in the name will be hugely marked up!!

Pay a photography student to do the wedding photos, it will be cheaper and give them great experience or just recruit everyone you know with digital cameras to take heaps and email them to you

Thanks in advance for the email!

I would love to have that. I'm not getting married for at least another two years but were already planning it now. Thankfully we've limited it to 100 people for both of us. All we really need is our close friends and family, not every person we've ever known. I'm really hoping to keep my budget under $15,000. I also have alot of contacts i can work with which is awesome and very helpful moneywise. But yeah, any tips would be highly appreaciated!

you can save money on the reception by having your friends and relatives decorate. instead of buying your bridal party their out fit have them buy it just give them the color and design.
chairs covers rent them.
and decoration go to oriental trading . com they have the best things and you can buy in bulk.
if you have relative that can bake really good give them the cake design and have them do run test to see how close they come to it.
my brother and sister wedding we did all the preparation. my aunt does catering so she did the cake and my dad is a chef so he did most of the cooking.
if you have relative that want to chip in with the expense don't be too proud accept any and every gift every little counts.

Here's what we're doing:

1. buy wholesale flowers. They're cheap and beautiful and cheaper than nice fake ones.

2. have a bunch of cakes rather than one big expensive cake. It also gives people the option of choosing what kind of cake they want.

3. Ipod instead of DJ. This is just for our dance music.

4. Get talented friends to contribute to your wedding. We have a friend who's a professional photographer and a friend who has a jazz band.

5. Make your own invitations.

6. Get decorations from craigslist.org. The quality is good and the prices are low. I bought all our candle holders and vases for $40, and that's a faction of what it's worth. And I can resell them and get my money back.

7. Buy your own alcohol. It's a ton cheaper than having your vendor do it.

8. Have your dress made. I got my dress made from an eBay store based in China. It's perfect and only cost $160 with shipping.

9. Work with your venue rather than against it. You will find that you can decorate less if you play up your space.

That's all I can think of.

I would consider a very simple wedding. One out doors, but make sure you get the place ahead of time to decorate. What ever you do… don't be late. Use what you have do not worry about what others think. This is your wedding and it what ever happens it will be great. Unlike what the world thinks it will be memorable regardless what you do or do not doe.

please email it to me…

A friend of mine had 300 guests at her wedding and decided to have a small wedding cake to save on the cost of the cake. She ended up purchasing additional sheet cakes that were cut up in the kitchen and served to the guests. Noone ever knew the difference… We all had plenty of cake!

That would be excellent if you could sent them to me. We've been trying this wedding things for three years and have neither the know how or saved a single penny for it. Our combined annual income is $ 40, 000 and we have two children (all under 3) plus accommodations, food, you name it. I have to start looking around and you'll be a great start. My e-mail address is:

So please contact me when you receive my information here, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi!
I did simple but elegant and paid less than 5,000 for my wedding maybe even less. I bought wholesale flowers which saved a bunch of money. I also checked with many friends who were talented with things like floral arrangements, making cakes, putting people in charge of individual tasks.
This is my favorite:
For my card holder at the reception I made it look like a cake, I bought 3 hat boxes of various sizes. I cut the bottom out of the largest box leaving enough edge to hot glue the middle size box on and did the same to the middle sized box to hot glue the small size box on it. cut slit in the small top box. Only save the lid for the largest box as it will be the base. Before hot gluing I covered with a silverish cardstock paper over all the boxes. Then after hot gluing the boxes together, I hot glued on red ribbon to the lid and red piped ribbon on the edge of each box. I then bought a bunch of rub-on marriage stuff, stickers, bride & groom stickers and decorated the whole thing. I had 4 brides and grooms. Wal-mart carries these. On the top behind the slit I place a bride & groom standing next to each other. Then on the tiers of the "cake" I did 3 themes. One was the first dance, one was tossing the bouquet, and the other was the first kiss. It was so much fun to make and not really that expensive.
